DT-CWT and type-2 fuzzy-HSAPF for harmonic compensation in distribution system

چکیده

Extensive utilization of power electronics in different applications injects harmonics into degrading the quality. Harmonics can be eliminated distribution systems using low-cost passive filters, but, they become bulky and complex design with increase harmonic order. Hence, active filters (APFs) are proposed as a voltage source converter (VSC) for providing better compensation, but filtering is costly. To minimize such demerits, this article represents hybrid shunt filter (HSAPF). For reference current calculation, dual-tree wavelet transform (DT-CWT) used here conventional proportional–integral (CPI), type-1 type-2 fuzzy logic controllers (T1FLC T2FLC) employed parameter optimization HSAPF, to enhance compensation ability factor. The case studies performed both simulations well real-time experimental setup dSPACE, it analyzed that DT-CWT fuzzy-based HSAPF provide performance comparison other under operating conditions.
